Another apology is required. Every once in a while life gets in the way of creating. There’s been a plethora of bad news that has come to those I love & are important to me. It’s not as though this bad news has always been final, but it has certainly affected me in various ways. It’s hard to concentrate on designing, at least for me, when precious people in my life are struggling, in pain, and facing some hard facts of life. My heart goes out to each of these members of my family.
I will get back on schedule next week, with more ‘stuff’ for your junk journal journey. You’ll find more listings on Studio on the Corner Etsy shop including these Silly Teddy Bear Tags.
The tags were extracted from a book published in 1907. The borders are vintage frames from an old type book circa early 1900s. The tags come in various formats: 1.) All files come as PDFs so you can add text in Adobe Reader 2.) PNG files, individual tags & sheets, completed with backgrounds & aged along with sheets & individual tags with no backgrounds. Just print on a colored paper of your choice. This option is great for saving ink. 3.) One sheet of the six tags is in JPG format, as seen above. This option requires nothing but printing making it a convenient option. Just handwrite whatever you wish to say. Aren’t multiple options great?
I seldom get on my patriotic soap box, but when things seem to be spinning out of control I cannot hold my fingers back. Get out the grill, patty up burgers, toss a few hot dogs on the hot coals, whip up potato salad, bake an apple pie & pause a moment this Memorial weekend to ponder the liberties we should all hold dear. My grandfather, father, & uncles took up arms when called upon to do so. I can never express just how important these freedoms are to me. People sacrificed so we could continue living in a land of freedom. It is all those fighting warriors who served in times of war & times of peace, from the lowest man on the military totem pole to the highest general that I offer the deepest gratitude.
